Coal to remain biggest fuel source into the future: US expert

Coal will remain the cheapest and most abundant fuel source on the planet and renewables will not replace fossil fuels any time soon, according to visiting US energy expert Robert Bryce.

Bryce, senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research in New York – a think tank funded in part by companies within the fossil fuel sector – is currently giving a series of lectures hosted by the Minerals Council Of Australia.
