The current Senate inquiry into aviation, which continues on 28th February 2013 will delve further into the dubious relationships between the regulator [CASA] and the accident investigator [ATSB].

It will also delve into the “Chambers Report”, which appeared to be the “un-finished business of 15th February 2013”. The Chamber’s report and more “failure-to-answer” by the CEO of ATSB.

The inquiry moves on, with the next on Monday, 18 March 2013, from 4 pm :
A further “in-camera” hearing is scheduled for Monday:

That the Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport References Committee be authorised to hold an in camera hearing during the sitting of the Senate on Monday, 18 March 2013, from 4 pm.
Question agreed to.

There was another “in-camera” hearing by the Senators prior to the 28th February 2013 hearing of ATSB’s Martin Dolan.

The report is now “out” and the full details are at: http://vocasupport.com/?page_id=1483

The latest is the ATSB referring it’s “Operation” to the TSB of Canada for a report.

This happened on 24th July 2013 in the Board meeting, that according to Dolan’s reply to the Senate was his response to the PelAir inquiry.
