Dick Smith talks to Maca on aviation problems:
The around Australia programme on Sunday mornings, which showcases a range of issues, featured Dick Smith.
Dick highlighted the serious and negative impact on aviation in Australia due to the actions of CASA. In particular he highlighted the extreme increased costs of maintaining an aviation licence without any safety benefits.
Dick was not asked questions on the David Forsyth review, but the second interviewer with Maca [Ian McNamara] was aware of this and drew all the listeners attention to the fact that CASA was seriously castigated by this report in how it interacted with the aviation industry.
