This is the Australian regulator, who have “head of power” from the Civil Aviation Act [CAA] to regulate the aviation industry and assist the safety of flight in Australia in accordance with an international base determined by the Chicago Convention and thus ICAO.

There have been concerns about how CASA investigates and then prosecutes assumed infractions.

These have been wide and varied and resulted in serious damage to individuals, whether guilty or not.

The use of the legal system, which is expensive and convoluted often results in the individual or company being run out of money before a result is achieved.
